This breathtaking, much loved home that has been in the family for 25 years and for the first time is available to those looking for a relaxing experience in a spectacular lakeside setting.

Whether you like boating, fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding or just like going for a walk this property has access to it all. Situated close to surrounding bushland you’ll enjoy plenty of native wildlife with kangaroos a regular afternoon visitor while you’re enjoying a happy hour beverage.

The property is just a short walk from attractions like Burrill Lake Rock Cave and for the more energetic the Giriwa Walking Track is a must.

The area has all the essentials you’ll need, with a local IGA, café, newsagent, bottleshop, bakery and seafood shop an easy 10-15 min walk max or 2-3 min drive.

Dusky has been freshly renovated with brand new appliances, floorings, bedding, furniture, Gas heating and has been freshly painted. It also features a few of home’s luxuries with 3 Smart TV’s, Sonos Surround Sound System (upstairs and downstairs), new Weber BBQ and Nespresso coffee machine.

Upstairs it boasts open plan living with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, storage room, kitchen, dining and lounge room with wood fire place. This opens onto an undercover deck area that takes in the views of the lake and surrounding bush land. Also upstairs is air conditioning for those warmer summer days and the convenience of gas heating.

Downstairs is 1 bedroom, bathroom, laundry and a large lounge/entertainment area with 65” TV — ideal for watching a game of football or a movie night. For the cooler Winter nights, there is a Rhinnai Gas Heater downstairs to keep you nice and toasty. This area opens onto another extensive deck, which provides another amazing northerly aspect of the lake and is perfect for a happy hour. The backyard also has an open fire pit which is hard to drag yourself away from on those fresher evenings.

To make your stay easier and more enjoyable, linen and bath towels are included. All you need to bring are your own beach towels.

Please note
*There is a small Jetty in front of the property, which you can bring boats into, however, the lake is tidal and on low or neap tides it becomes a little more challenging so more suited to smaller boats.

Dusky is a pet friendly home with the back yard fully fenced for your furry friends to run around in.

Guests are required to bring all personal, pantry and toiletry items as minimal items are supplied and vary at each property. This includes toilet paper.

Please note a Pre-Authorisation form will be emailed to you prior to your arrival. This form is mandatory and will need to be completed prior to you receiving your access instructions. Please call our office directly if you have any questions or concerns regarding this.

Dusky is a family home in a quiet established area. We want you to enjoy yourself and relax; however, if you’re looking for a party house and are planning a hen’s, buck’s, or a party of any kind, this property is not for you and these types of bookings will be cancelled.

Cameras and Noise Monitoring: There are 4 external security cameras and 1 internal security camera installed at this location presently but the owner reserves the right at any time to install additional external cameras at their discretion. Cameras are positioned to view Front door entrance, backyard fence/gate & downstairs entrance, Upstairs deck sliding door, downstairs outside locked storeroom, downstairs locked internal storeroom areas for external security monitoring only. All cameras are installed in line with local regulations. A noise monitoring device is installed - fines apply to guests found to have disconnected, removed or damaged the noise device. These devices are used to monitor and maintain ours and guests responsibilities under the NSW STR Code of Conduct.

Please note, the internal camera located downstairs in the internal locked storeroom does not aim or record any guest activity as it is behind the locked storeroom door.
